The City of Dania Beach was the first city that was included into Broward County in the 1880s. Dania Beach offers several recreational facilities including golf courses, hiking trails, and beaches. There are also water sports facilities. You can enjoy a ride in an old-fashioned wooden roller coaster or watch the record-size game fish at the Fishing Hall of Fame. In addition, you can find nature trails and unique parks, restaurants and spas, as well as shopping centers with antique stores.

Davie

The Town of Davie is home to Flamingo Gardens, a 60-acre site showcasing rare, exotic and native plants. The Bergeron Rodeo Grounds is located in the historical western-themed district of downtown Davie, this attraction has long served as Davie’s main tourist draw. The indoor/outdoor facility was originally established as a rodeo arena, but later expanded to meet the demand for more diverse events such as top name concert entertainers, circuses, monster trucks, horse shows, dog shows, car shows, air boat shows, and industrial shows. Davie is the host site of several annual events.

The City of Fort Lauderdale is known as the "Venice of America" because of its extensive canal system. The economy of Fort Lauderdale relies heavily on tourism. Fort Lauderdale's tourism includes a vast number of sporting events, restaurants, dance performances, recreation, and much more. Hillsboro Beach

The Town of Hillsboro Beach is situated on a small peninsula north of Pompano Beach. It extends 3.2 miles from the Hillsboro Inlet on the south to Deerfield Beach on the north and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west. Its greatest width is about 900 feet. It has but one road, State Highway A1A.

Hollywood

The City of Hollywood provides easy access to Port Everglades, the second busiest cruise port in the world, as well as the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The Miami International Airport and the Port of Miami are less than twenty-five miles away. Interstate 95, the Florida Turnpike, Tri-County Commuter Rail, and two major railroads cut through Hollywood.
