The City of Aventura, one of Miami-Dade's newest communities, was incorporated in 1995 and is a young, vibrant, full-service municipality with a diverse demographic base and is recognized internationally as a premier location in which to live, shop and play. Aventura is 3.2 square miles located on the Intracoastal Waterway in northeast Miami-Dade County and is conveniently located between two major South Florida airports and two of the largest and most popular seaports in the world.

The Village of Biscayne Park is an incorporated village, is strictly residential (no schools, hotels, restaurants, or commercial development). Biscayne Park’s size is about 0.6 square miles. The Village of Biscayne Park is autonomous, in that it has; a police department, public works department, building, zoning and code enforcement departments and a recreation department. The village sits between North Miami and Miami Shores. It is known for its beautiful vegetation, tree canopies and wildlife and is also a bird sanctuary.

Coral Gables

The City of Coral Gables is home to many historic landmarks as well as 22 parks, 33 public tennis courts, two public golf courses, and other first-class recreation amenities. Among them: the largest tropical botanical garden in the continental United States, a spring-fed grotto swimming pool made of native coral rock with underwater caves, tree-lined bike paths and walking trails, and more.

The Town of Cutler Bay is a vibrant community of residents who enjoy its beautiful surroundings and family-oriented atmosphere. The Town was incorporated November 8th, 2005, making it the newest incorporated municipality in the State of Florida.

Florida City

Florida City originated as a land promotion named Detroit. There were no buildings in the area when the first thirty families arrived in 1910, and they had to stay in Homestead until their houses could be built. The name was changed to Florida City when the town incorporated in 1914. It has a small historic area, but much of the city is hotels and other tourist facilities.

Hialeah

The City of Hialeah is a full service city and, by population, is the fifth largest city in the State of Florida. Hialeah reflects the diversity of the northwest Dade area, and points proudly to the many facets of this growing multi-cultural community. The City of Hialeah Gardens is a flourishing residential community. The city has several beautiful parks which offer a variety of leisure activities. The community also organizes special events and festivals on a regular basis.

Kendall

The City of Kendall is located in Southern Florida, a little southwest of Miami between Coral Gables and Florida City along US Hwy 1. Kendall is about an hours drive from Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, the Florida Everglades and the beginning of the Florida Keys. The City of Kendall currently does not have a website.

Miami Gardens

The City of Miami Gardens is located in North-Central region of the county, mid-way between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and is easily accessed by I-95, the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) and the Florida Turnpike. The city comprises approximately 20 square miles. It has vibrant commercial corridors along the Palmetto Expressway (serving as the central shopping district for the furniture trade) and along U.S. 441 (serving the automobile trade).

Miami Shores

The City of Miami Shores is 1 mile S of North Miami, Florida (center to center) and 6 miles N of Miami, Florida. The people of the city are in the Miami metropolitan area. Miami Shores in Florida is a community that has a hundred year old history. It was separated from Miami in the year 1932. It was once famous for the Biscayne Kennel Club dog track which was closed down in 1995.

The City of Miami Springs has one of the best examples of Pueblo Revival style of architecture in Florida. The history of the city is preserved in the buildings, some of which are as old as the city. Since the city is built near the Miami International Airport, it has got a number of good hotels which offer a wide range of facilities. The city serves as a great watering hole for people who are visiting Miami.

The City of North Miami Beach is situated along the Intracoastal Waterway. The city has an ethnically diverse population. The City of Opa-Locka is an urban community occupying 4.2 square miles in the North-Western area of
Miami-Dade County, Florida. In addition to the unique buildings, Opa-locka has a large general aviation airport, three parks, two lakes and a railroad station which is currently the tri-rail station. The City is comprised of a mixture of residential, commercial and industrial zones.

Residents and tourists love spending time exploring the gardens. The village also organizes various activities regularly for the entertainment and education of its people.

The City of South Miami is a pleasant city, known for its leafy residential neighborhoods. The city of West Miami, which is only three-quarters of a square mile, is nestled between Tamiami Trail and Coral Way.
