Low Income Housing

Have your homeownership dreams been thwarted by high home prices again and again?

Owning a home isn’t something that’s just supposed to be for the wealthy. We’ll help you find mortgage grants and low income housing in your area that’ll make your homeownership dreams a reality!

What’s Low Income Housing?

Low-income housing programs are designed to make homeownership affordable for any household. They work by pricing homes according to local median income levels instead of local market prices. This way, low-income homebuyers aren’t forced out of the market when the demand for housing rises.

“Low-Income” is determined by taking a household’s income and size into account. In Broward county, for example, a family of four that earns $55,300 per year would be considered low income, but a family of 3 would not.

Besides providing lower cost homes to low-income families, other government, non-profit, and foundation programs exist to help families offset the costs of expensive down payments and closing costs. What we do is find and provide you with all the information you need to take advantage of these programs and get under your very own roof.
